Join us for a conversation with Usman Mushtaq, who is on the board of TCF Norway and is currently serving as an advisor to The Ministry of National Health Services in Pakistan. He has on the ground insight on the fight against COVID-19 in Pakistan and has played a vital role in the response in Pakistan.
Pakistan is emerging as an unlikely success story in combating the virus and as made a remarkable rebound from the brink of disaster. Finding out more through this conversation with TCF Norway and Usman Mushtaq.
About Usman: Usman Mushtaq is a Norwegian Pakistani Medical Doctor from University of Oslo (UiO) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Usman is a member of the Board of Trustees of EAT Foundation and on the Board of UNICEF Norge and TCF Norway. He is a member of the Norwegian Labour Party and a board member of Oslo Arbeidersamfunn. He worked for a short period between his studies in the Norwegian Parliament as a Political Advisor to the Parliamentary Group of the Labour Party. Last year he was headhunted by the Pakistan Minister of Health to serve as his advisor and he has been living there for the past year.
