TCF Norway is a non-profit registered in Norway as a foreningen (association) with foretaksregisteret (the Norwegian business register)
We aim to make an impact in local communities, to improve access to education for some of the 23 million Pakistani children without the option to go to school. We work in partnership with The Citizens Foundation on the ground in Pakistan, one of the leading nonprofits in the world within the field of education for the less privileged.
Our strategy has three main pillars of action. These enable us to assist the children of Pakistan access the education they deserve from across borders:
Through seasonal campaigns and activities, we raise funds to sustain TCF Norway Viking Campus operations. Guided by the local country knowledge we receive from TCF Pakistan, our funds are also directed towards other educational programs in Pakistan that focus on breaking down barriers to access for women and children.
We advocate for evidence-based distribution of funds towards those Pakistani communities identified as most in need of education assistance. Through strategic relationships, we ensure that NORAD and other Norwegian funding agencies are well informed of our progress, as well as the ongoing efforts of The Citizens Foundation in Pakistan.
TCF Norway also collaborates closely with other nonprofit organizations in Norway, to ensure that UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, quality education, remains high up on the governmental agenda.
We provide volunteer opportunities in Norway that work to enhance the organisational performance, strategic direction and impact of TCF Norway now and into the future. For all those that volunteer with us, there are unique opportunities to visit Pakistan and gain hands-on experience within the schools we, and The Citizens Foundation, have built.
